Training for Success
Small group numbers, plus our combination of real work experience with a thorough grounding in all of the theoretical aspects enables our diploma trainees to achieve at least three level 2 NVQ’s (National Vocational Qualifications) over the space of two years, as well as a whole series of linked accredited professional and vocational certificates.
Our course enables you to master the skills and knowledge needed in all sectors of the Hospitality Industry, so that you are fully prepared for the world of work and are able to successfully manage the work of others.
Lakefield’s NVQ Awarding Body is City and Guilds, which has over 150 years of vocational training and qualification experience throughout Great Britain and around the world.
Lakefield also offers more mature students Level 3 NVQ’s in Patisserie, Kitchen and Larder, and in Hospitality Supervision.
Students wishing to continue training, may then progress upwards to a Level 4 NVQ (equivalent to a HND), or can enrol on a University degree.
