Banoffee Pie Video Recipe

This heavenly version of banoffee pie is so easy to make and so deliciously rewarding. The combination of caramel and banana is truly a marriage made in heaven.

Banoffee Pie Video Recipe

Ingredients:

250g Digestive Biscuits
100g Melted Butter
1 tin of Dulce de Leche
1tbs Icing Sugar
275ml Double Cream
2 Bananas
Dark Chocolate (grated)

Method:

1. Crush the digestive biscuits and add the melted butter. Mix very well.
2. Line the tin with digestive biscuits and put in the fridge to set. Ensure you place some of the biscuits around the side.
3. Empty ½ of can of the caramel into a saucepan. Boil for 5 mins stirring constantly.
4. When the base has set, place the boiled caramel on to the biscuit base, spread evenly.
5. Slice the bananas thinly. Add the sliced bananas on top of the caramel.
6. Add the ½ of tin uncooked caramel over then add the rest of sliced bananas.
7. Whip the cream and add the icing sugar.
8. Spread the whipped cream on top of the caramel and sliced bananas.
9. Refrigerate until needed.
10. To jazz up your dessert, add grated chocolate on top! Easy!
