David Mulcahy



Central Craft & Food Development Director, Sodexo UK & Ireland Vice President & Past National Chairman- The Craft Guild of Chefs. David Mulcahy is a well-decorated chef and a highly respected individual with a wealth of industry experience. Originally educated and trained in Ireland, David developed further skills and experience in Hotels and Restaurants in the UK before joining Sodexo UK and Ireland. David is responsible for the culinary development and craft training strategy of employees at Sodexo as Executive Chef, David gained experience directly delivering high‑quality services in a range of catering environments, from select fine dining to major contract facilities with multiple outlets and over 6,000 customers. He has also developed a robust Culinary Training Academy programme for the promotion of excellence by improving the training and motivation of staff and the quality and innovation associated with restaurants, specialist outlets, products and services. In addition he has been Director at the critically acclaimed Hoxton Apprentice Restaurant in London driving a community cookery programme for disaffected people in the area. David is active in promoting catering industry.
