Medal for Excellence for Mutya as a Best Student
Mutya Emerald, Lakefield’s student level 4, awarded medal of Excellence by City and Guilds in recognition for her outstanding performance in Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Hospitality Supervision and Leadership.
Every year more than 2 million people are nominated for these awards worldwide. This year only 200 nominations were short listed.
Each medal winner is also in the running to win one of their prestigious Lion Awards, that our student April Poblete won last course as Best Future Leader. City and Guild’s Medals for Excellence have been developed for those at the highest professional levels within their chosen career.
For over 100 years, their annual City & Guilds Medals for Excellence programme recognises the achievements of their learners and tutors who have achieved results by producing exceptional work, going above and beyond what is expected to achieve their goals. They also recognise not only excellent results but also those who show a true journey of progression throughout their qualification.
Not enough recognition is given out for hard work these days, but City & Guilds believe in the importance of recognising success and inspiring individuals to discover their potential.
