Senior lecturer of professional cookery for ten years at Merton college London, from there he opened the Marriott hotel Warsaw Poland as executive pastry chef, on returning to the UK, Omero took a job with Compass catering as executive development chef, opening the refurbished Cumberland hotel London.
After he worked on the Arora group of hotels opening the five star Sofitel hotel Heathrow, from there he opened Gallucci’s Restaurant at the Arora hotel Crawley, in between various development roles, he has also worked Royal function and high profile dinners.
He jointly managed the Compass Culinary teams for ten years competing at the in the golden ladle in Luxembourg and the Culinary Olympics in Berlin winning many awards. He has also mentored many chefs who are now executive chefs, the training of young people has always been close to his heart.
He holds gold medals from the Chefs and Cooks Circle, Palm Culinaire, Mettrise Escoffier Lacam for Patisserie, Craft Guild of Chefs Competition Chef of the year 2000 and many awards from home and abroad.
